The 50th Annual Dixie Youth Baseball World Series was awarded to the City of Auburn to host in August 2005. This tournament is expected to attract nearly 1,500 people to Auburn for one week of tournament play to determine the Dixie Youth World Champions. 24 teams from 11 states, including 2 host teams, will compete for the national title in 2 different age groups.
